The Fayette Main Street, Inc mission is to strategically revitalize and preserve the historic Fayette downtown community, creating a thriving and sustainable downtown through the efforts and vision of the four point approach, aligning with Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion and Organization efforts.
Our goal is to provide best practices, advice, and resources for downtown revitalization.
Economic Vitality
The FMS Economic Vitality Committee builds a commercial district that responds to the needs of today’s customers.
Design
The Design Committee of FMS intends to improve the appearance and function of everything that is visual in downtown such as buildings, storefronts, windows, sidewalks, lighting, landscape, signs, and streets.
Promotions
The FMS Promotions Committee works hard developing activity downtown and promoting the downtown business, while helping develop a consistent downtown brand.
Organization
FMS’s organization Committee builds a governing framework, develops work plans, provides sustainable sources of revenue, and volunteer development.
