We are excited to welcome two new leaders to the Downtown Fayette (formerly Fayette Main Street) organization - Chelsea Karwath, Organization Committee Chair, and Lacie Ogden, Promotions Committee Chair.
Meet Chelsea…
“My husband Graham and I moved to Fayette from Kansas City in June as he became the Men’s wrestling coach at Central. I am a Chiropractor and just recently opened my practice, Abide Fayette, to serve Fayette families with holistic Chiropractic care and I couldn’t be more excited!
It’s hard to believe we are rounding the corner on almost a year as residents of Fayette! I am originally from Troy, MO and I am thrilled to be back in small town Missouri as we start to put down roots! We have fallen in love with the community of Fayette, the beautiful setting, and the incredible support for community events and small businesses. I noticed the unique community support about Fayette right away and that’s why I wanted to be a part of both the small business community, as well as Downtown Fayette! It is so important for members of a community to feel a sense of pride and neighborly connection to their town, and I am excited to get to work with Downtown Fayette to create a strong culture of volunteers eager to ensure the success of the events and initiatives that bring so much value and vibrancy to our community!”

Meet Lacie…
Lacie, and her husband Andy, moved to Fayette in 2017. They fell in love with the small town between their two hometowns and have enjoyed turning their house into a home. They have two dogs, and a cat – and enjoy taking the boat out as well as traveling.
Lacie has been involved with event planning on many levels during and since attending college at MU. Outside of planning holiday parties, she worked full time planning Expo and corporate events and worked for the Roots n Blues music festival for 8 years. Lacie has jumped right into planning for the 2024 events, and we are grateful to have her energy and experience on our team!
